Styles Based on Deep-rooted Japanese Aesthetics:
Invoking the Power of Nature and Beauty of the Four Seasons
In ancient times, various patterns were imported from continental Asia to Japan, and over time these were modified to f it Japanese tastes while new patterns were also created based on Japanese people's unique views on Mother Nature. Such patterns are more than mere ornamentations—they are imbued with sentiments toward nature and wishes for happiness among the people of Japan, serving as good luck charms in daily life and providing elements of style and refinement to enjoy. INDEN-YA cherishes these traditional patterns, making use of them in our products while continually creating new pat-terns for the current era.

INDEN-YA's Endeavors
New Sensibilities for a New Era of INDEN
INDEN-YA not only preserves the culture of INDEN by utilizing traditional techniques and patterns, but constantly pursues new frontiers in INDEN design.
We began these efforts with the 1983 launch of an original brand, and followed this in 2011 with the debut of INDEN NEW YORK as our first INDEN brand targeting an overseas market. We have exhibited our products at COTERIE, the United States' largest exhibition event of its kind, and in 2016 we established INDEN EST. 1582 to make new inroads into the European market. INDEN-YA's high quality has been recognized widely, positioning us as one of the world's most prominent high-fashion brands and also establishing us as a joint supplier to the British royal family. Today, the Japanese art of IN-DEN is becoming increasingly well-known around the globe.
